New Information About Your Retirement Accounts
On June 9, 2017, the United States Department of Labor (DOL) enacted an important new rule related to qualified retirement accounts, including individual retirement accounts (IRAs). This new DOL rule expands the definition of investment advice and applies to financial representatives who make certain recommendations to retirement plans, plan participants and IRA owners.
The rule is intended to create greater transparency about how your financial representative and Park Avenue Securities are compensated and about any material conflicts of interest that may be associated with recommendations made by your financial representative. Park Avenue Securities has made updates to disclosures for your retirement account to include important information concerning the new DOL rule.
